Hutson didn't redshirt at any point in his career, starting all 13 games as a freshman off the bat. Hutson was never selected in the NFL draft, only participating in rookie minicamps with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns.

I think the game was he didn’t really need these players but he definitely wasn’t going to let Ole Miss get them (Ole Miss was recruiting these guys as well). So mission accomplished. The entire sports world has been talking nonstop about LSU, (All press is good press) They didn’t break any rules, have the option to roster these players if the rules change and keep your rival from getting better. It kinda does look like 3D chess.

This is going to be white washed very shortly except to continue the smear campaign against Lane.
LSU played all the cards it had but knew to back down. There was too much at risk. It a certainty that the high end boosters, TAF, business leaders etc made it clear that LSU could not take the risk of the penalties or outright dismissal. LSU's options should that happen would severely limited. It would have been catastrophic.
I am positive that the leak about possible expulsion was intentional by the SEC.
I think this shined more light on the hypocrisy of college football assertion that student athletes (hah) are amateurs but that's about it.

If your statement is true, as I had not heard that, L$U was played or is dumber than I thought. The plan should have been to let Ole Miss get them, and then what is happening now is happening to Ole Miss. This was a long term play and Ole Miss, just let Texas Tech was dumb enough to try.
I hope this is not true, as it would have been far more fun to watch Ole Miss go down. I still want to see the Chambliss thing blow up.
