God Damn you guys are some sad people. Giving up before tip off? Who in this world can beat the almighty Russians....what's the fun of a game if you lose before you start

Les Miles assist in Kentucky's preperation. Maybe the Wildcats won't get past halfcourt.

Have Nick Saban and his place kickers work with Kentucky players on how to make 3's

1. Create space for our shooters - Kentucky's guards are so much taller than our guards that in the first game our guards could barely get off an outside shot. We sometimes do a poor job of executing both ball screens and other screens away from the ball. We have to execute to perfection on offense to create open shots.
2. Get Davis in foul trouble - Davis controls the paint. If he doesn't block shots, he alters them. We actually have a lot of size down low, so we need to go at him early, pump fake him and try and force some fouls.
3. Push the tempo when we have the numbers - Kentucky is so good in their halfcourt defense that we need to get some fast break points. When we made a run in the first half of last game, it was spurred by our fastbreak points.
4. Make Davis shoot from the outside - Lately in games Davis has been more inclined to shoot from the outside. I would sag off of him and make him take that shot. Davis taking an outside shot is a much lower percentage shot that Teague, Lamb, and Kidd-Gilchrist.
5. Don't play zone - Our top 2 players in the zone are so small that Kentucky can shoot over them on quick ball rotations. Kentucky shoots way too well to play a 2-3 zone against them.

5. Don't play zone -
fricking this
turner needs to stay aggressive like he was early in that 1st half yesterday. go to the rim off that shuffle cut and initiate contact and try and get bert in foul trouble.
johnny was a man yesterday. if he can play like that today AND we get hamilton going it would certainly help keep it close.
we've got to get out and attack when we have numbers and capitalize in transition.

Davis playing only 13 mins due to foul trouble.
Out rebound UK.
Uk under 40% from field and under 20% from 3.
LSU 70% from 3, over 45% from field.
LSU < 8 TO's.
LSU 16-20 from line.
Otherwise, no shot. UK too big at the guards. They get open looks all game due to our lack of backcourt size.

If LSU plays their best game of the season and UK plays their worst game of the season, UK wins by 10 or so. LSU really has no chance of winning this one. I guess Calipari could sabotage his team and put players on the court that LSU would have a shot at beating them, but I don't really see the point of him doing that.

Have the wildcats eaten breakfast yet? If not, can some go sprinkle some powder laxative all over their buffet line.

You do realize this is the SEC tournament, and barring an actual murder, he will have no more than 3 fouls called this game.

Hoping they all come down with an acute case of explosive diarreah?

- our guards have to pass the ball to a big guy somewhere in the paint or penetrate and kick the ball back out every trip down court (stringer, turner & hickey can't drive an expect to get a layup). passing the ball around the perimeter gets you nowhere. we have to get their defense moving. when we go inside out we can play with a lot of teams.
- block out every time. they will burn you worse than anybody if you don't. kentucky got a ton of rebounds the first game, because we just turned and watched the ball instead of blocking out. getting second chance shots was a huge part in their 2nd half run. us blocking out is a good way to get some of their guys in foul trouble, but you won't get over the back calls if you don't block out.
- we can't jack up quick 3s, especially if we don't have rebounders inside. stringer and turner are bad about this. we can't waste trips down court.
