LSU’s edges vs Ole Miss’s OTs. Their starting LT may be out as well. Either way it’s clear LSU has a massive advantage here. Trinidad is still very elusive so pursuit will have to be absolutely dialed in, but I see a world where Princewill and Ross are whipping their OL all night and Trinidad is running for his life

LSU is T-1 for sacks in the SEC with 11 through two games.
11 sacks through two games is pretty impressive and the starters have only played 6 quarters through 2 games.

I wonder if we have whit or dottery spy chambliss all night. Ole miss is going to want to seal the corner and push our edges upfield which will allow lanes for chambliss to scramble. Someone has to stay home on the edge or spy otherwise he’ll give us fits.

In a traditional sense a spy could be helpful, but when your edges can contain and rush under control, as well as your LBs, having one person dedicated to spy can be unnecessary.
LSU has even been able to use Spears to rush and he can rush under control as well.

This is the best pass rush we’ve had in quite some time with princewell and Ross on the edge and deuce in the interior

I think the key to the game is our run game vs the OM run defense.
Ole Miss has given up 5 ypc vs Louisville and 5.1 ypc vs Charolette (excluding sack yardage).
If the OL can get enough push and Lane can get 5+ ypc then I think we win handily. If the OL struggles like they did vs LA Tech, Leavitt will press and things could go sideways.
