No. Everybody knows arguing with you about the baseball team is futile.

I have absolutely no problem with Gausman using LSU to get more money. I'd put his chances at returning at about .05%.

I agree with this....and would ask that everyone hold with the 'stupid' remarks. Let's meet here Friday at 4:05 pm and........then we can talk.

if he comes back and works real hard he might get drafted 3, or even 1 if they make it to the World series and win

and saying the hitting/coaching sucks are the popular buzzwords to use on this message board. you're ignorant if you don't think having gausman and nola as a 1-2 punch would make us a serious contender from day one. south carolina's hitting was worse than lsu's all season, and they made it all the way to the cws finals with good pitching.

Never said we wouldn't be a contender. I said it wouldn't be enough to win it.

your words were get over the hump. what does that even mean. to most it means get to omaha. we would absolutely be favorites to get to omaha. once you get to omaha anything can happen. look who won it this year. not many people were picking arizona to win a national title this year, especially in the fashion they did it in omaha.

Didnt we hear this with Ranaudo to.

Its posturing for more money.

There is no way he risks injury to come back unless he just does not want to play for the Orioles.

There is only risk in coming back and no real reward.

Right.

The chances of this happening are about the same as me trying out for LSU Baseball and making the team.

not really. he postured for more money, but he just went to the cape league and dominated) for a few starts because the red sox were concerned with his arm problems from earlier in the season

kudos to kevin for using LSU to get more money (as if he's the first to do that). I hope he breaks the bank. He actually sounds believable if you comprehend on a 1st grade level. Kevin please don't come back to lsu unless you about to start swinging a bat. I'm sure our pitching staff will be fine.

To repeat, with Scott Boras as his adviser, he's just playing the game. No way Boras lets him get away, as he'd have to "recruit " all over again next yr. And, just fwiw, he was the first pitcher chosen because the stud from Standford's asking price was way too high for most teams. Coach Dunn was on the radio last nite & was very realistic bout the chances of KG returning. He put it this way: it is way more usual for a player to sign at the last minute as opposed to being very unusual for him not to sign at all.
