Kermit Davis - former LSU BB Asst. Coach

Anybody remember him? I live in Murfreesboro (home of MTSU) and see him at the country club a few times a year but don't know much about him.

Do you at least know that he's the HC at MTSU?

Great coach. I think he was the main reason Brady had some success early at LSU. When he left LSU, there was a noticeable drop off in the team's defense.
Also, he is a quality guy. I got to know him at the LSU bball camps each summer.
I believe his dad was the bball coach at Miss St for quite a while.

Of course. Inferred with "home of MTSU". He doesn't play much golf so I don't see him much. Lived here 9 years and never been to an MTSU BB or FB game. Don't care. (Why would I?)

By the way, Kermit brought John Brady in for our member-guest 2 or 3 years ago. They're both terrible. Think they were in last flight (or next to last).

Did a road trip with the team to Vanderbilt years ago. Hung out with him some for dinner and after the game. He was a good guy and I think he did a standup job at LSU...
