I’m hoping we can win 2 out of 3 this weekend. Go Tigers!

Would love a sweep but just taking 2 of 3 would make me feel better about how we’ve playing lately. Need to start off conference play strong

Better starting pitching and hitting from the 5-9 spots are critical.

Pitchers and Mathis have to do something to stop the opponents from stealing bases.

It is time Garza comes around and starts mashing the baseball.

Looking for a solid and lengthy outing from Hess tonight.

Reid’s days at 3B are numbered.

I’m hoping for 2/3 also.

At this point I think we are just treading water until Garza is ready to catch. I’ve never seen anything like it.. 29/30 stealing bases on us.

How confident are you that he can take pitches and make contact?

Not sure yet. Reid has several balls get past him in the two games this week that Hughes makes. Once he stops getting on base, CPM will get him off the diamond, IMO. Bianco needs to come around at the plate also. He’s been a huge disappointment thus far.

If we get swept, this will be a very long season and big changes will need to take place for next season.

For whatever reason I'm convinced he will get it going. I think he's got some pop in his bat IF he can make contact. I trust him at the plate more than Hughes or Broussard in the long-run.

Regardless of who Paul puts in there - we have got to get some production from those spots. Hopefully one of them steps up and takes hold of it.

My thoughts are that Kentucky's head coach is one of the biggest bitches in college baseball. He's the guy that was calling for the popup against us while he was coaching the bases at Mississippi state. I not only hope we sweep, but I hope he gets somehow personally harmed in the process.

I’ve made a living off hating Chris Reid for 3 years but he’s simply the most consistent player we have in the lineup right now. I can’t beleive people are even considering swapping him for Bianca or Broussard.

I predict all 3 games will be tied 0-0 going into the top of the 1st inning....
