I really wish we could use this as a distraction to distance ourselves from all this crap vs reinsert ourselves. Feel like we’re jumping right back in after being removed.

Yeah, I think even before the WW thing he was being pushed to the side and minimized by ESPN. Just kind of kept around like a mascot kind of like Lee Corso.
But I ain't gonna lie I want him discredited more and exposed more for the hypocrite that he is. He helped lead the charge on WW while conveniently ignoring those who were doing worse and have been doing documented and provable worse things for a long time and demanding different standards.
I will never forgive that and please roast him and further wreck his credibility as many times as possible.

I actually saw Dick Vitale on LSU's campus back in the day. Just outside the bookstore - must have been a book signing or something. I actually heard the voice (which is unmistakable) and started looking around for a television. Good times...
But, yeah, he's a complete hypocrite on this issue.
