Then you haven’t been paying attention. We’re working counts, Drawing walks and hitting the ball hard.

We have Thompson’s pitch count up. It’s a low scoring game that we can very easily win. This is good baseball

If we can get Thompson off the mound I think we can win it. I don't think we are going to get any on him. We have been in position multiple times and he's pitched out of trouble almost effortlessly.

As much as I hate to say it, watching this dude throw has been sick. He's really fricking in charge on the mound.

It's awesome to see Hess back in a groove. He's deadly when he get on.

He’s been really really good. What’s awesome though is outside of the first inning Hess has been just as good if not better

This has been my reasoning for defending Hess all year. When he is on, he is really good.

This statement might be more comforting concerning our offensive performance today if our offense hadn’t made quite a few pitchers from other teams look just as effective lately.

Yep. I think the groin thing that set him back during pre-season practice limited him more than it may have seemed from a preparation standpoint. He missed the opportunity to build up going into week one and it's taken time for him to sharpen up.

Then take comfort in seeing what looks like substantial growth at the plate
