Really? That's funny. Because people who actually know basketball and get paid to give their opinions on it disagree with you.

Oh, you're one of THOSE people. Who have no idea about basketball, but just go off of what "experts" say. 2 weeks ago, LSU was one of the favorites in football according to the media. They just say the same shite another person says.

They think Cal is amazing because he gets ELITE recruits....which he does. But they have the BEST (if you judge it by talent going to the NBA) talent every single year and almost always let down their expectations. He wins with great recruits, not his coaching.

Again, a lot of people disagree that he's not a good in-game coach. People that know a hell of a lot more than you or me.

If not making it out of the Final Four is a "let down"...I'll fricking take it.

Basketball is so unpredictable. The "best team" doesn't always win. This isn't football, LSU fan.

The best teams don't always win in any sport... That's why they play the games.

Right. But upsets and "expectations" not being met happens A LOT more in basketball than it does football.

Because he's a great defensive coach, but their offense is brutal to watch. Last year they led the country in 2nd chance points. AKA we can't make a shot but our athletic 7' centers get putbacks.

Well, I don't know what type of fan of you are, but I can speak from experience. LSU baseball goes to Omaha every other year...but we have 1 title in like 15 years. Going to Omaha is fine for most programs, but not LSU. At some point, UK fans are going to want some titles. They shell out serious cash for basketball to win a title, not simply advance in a tourney.

You're right, which is why people shouldn't crown a rebuilding team after 2 games. And I'm not sure what me being an LSU fan has to do with anything. I've referenced LSU for some specific points, but I give UK props when I see it.

Uhhh HELLLOOO??? They just won one THREE years ago!

All you're really doing is projecting YOUR expectations of UK basketball onto UK fans. The last couple years were let downs, but again, two Final Fours in the last two years...yea I'll take it. I think UK will get one more National Title before Cal leaves.

It's a little ridiculous to act as though UK underachieves I'd love to have their recent track record.

And they had perhaps the greatest college basketball team ever last year!!! When you're 38-1, but your "1" is in the Final Four, that sucks. Yea, a fan can look back and say that was a good year, but in the moment that was a letdown. They were the #1 team all year and lost to an undermatched Wisconsin team.

UK has 1 national championship since 1999, FYI.

People get caught up in "Final Fours" way too much. You play to win the game

What's funny about them bagging on our coach is that Coach Jones has basically outcoached Cal in all of their games against each other. Look at the rosters and the results. LSU has no business playing with them, yet Kentucky struggles to do anything with LSU. What does that say for Cal?

They might be "junk" relative to what they normally are, but they are better than 95% of the OOC teams we play.

They have a lot of talent and that will overcome the lack of coaching. It looks like they play street ball. Reminded me of an "And 1" show.
