Agreed. Not much different from timeout out of a play stoppage Brian, but using the allotted guys is a big first step towards winning.

Thanks for this non-SEC stat. The tackling last night was atrocious enough to be a concern.

Well I’m giving you the benefit of the doubt otherwise you’re even dumber than I thought. At least if you’re young that’s sort of an excuse.

Have I insulted you? If you can't name a big win, just admit it. I'll be back to eat crow if I'm ever proven wrong.

Spoiler: I won't be.

I'll ask again, what win of value happened in those seasons? Was nd within 14 of any top flight opponent?

Do you think saying stuff like this is making your program look better?

This guy is undoubtably the best coach you've had in the last 30+ years and you're shitting on his lack of accomplishments.

Sounds like a program problem rather than a coach problem.

Time has passed you by. The glory days are over. You guys will never be what you once were (when leather helmets were cool) and that hurts deep down.

Oh well, deal with it.

Always these little qualifiers, as if 54-9 his last 5 seasons there then coming here and taking a team that finished last in the West to Atlanta year 1 somehow doesn’t count for anything
So average of 2 losses a year. shite he’s right on track.

Do not disagree. The nd admin refuses to invest in the program commensurate with excellence. I wouldn't pay 10 cents for bk let alone 100m, but at least yall are trying.

Go look at the first two years of many currently successful coaches

While you're at it look up how many of these "currently successful coaches" gave up 700+ yards to teams with inferior talent

Again, name any team of value he beat?

He beat LSU twice. LSU is a somebody (2nd most NCs this century) and ND has been a nobody for decades.

And then last year he beat a superior Bama team that ended up in the top 5 in his first year to win the West.

Beat Alabama last year

Also beat both Florida and Auburn on the road, something even Saban didn’t do here. Neither of those teams were great but they are very tough places to play and rivalry games for us.

I really don’t give a frick what he did at Notre Dame

It’s also sad and pathetic that you run here to gloat after an LSU loss.

It is unreal how ND fans can't understand this.

They shite on their own program's lack of success and then try and throw it in our face like we give a shite.

Yeah, we know he couldn't win a title with you. Nobody in the modern age can.

But since Les and O can win here, we think he's got a pretty good shot too.

Nick Saban year 2 at LSU won the sec, year 2 at bama went undefeated reg season.

Kirby smart year 2 at UGA played in a NC. To be fair he did have a down let down in 18 through 20 before winning his asterisk nc

I’m fine with saying wait and see until year 3. Though year 2 is usually the leap now. I just don’t see how we do it with our bad staff and bad recruiting

I am not saying BK is as good as prime Saban or Kirby.

But that doesn’t mean he’s garbage, either.

Yeah, I mean, the guy resurrected their dead program and had two undefeated regular seasons and they say he didn't beat anyone. Well, if that's the case, ND scheduled like pussies for many years considering he won more games than any coach in ND history. At least he managed to make ND relevant again and got them to a national championship. They hadb't sniffed an an NC for decades. He at least came close.

And at the time they would have lost their minds if you suggested they didn’t play as good a schedule as the SEC

Another Notre Dame fan here to regail us with their wisdom, as if Notre Dame and LSU are equivalent programs and situations.

Correct, scheduled like pansies [or unlucky usc, Michigan, fsu all down programs for the decade] bk never came close to greatness. He beats tomato cans and shrivels under bright lights. The divide between those like me who never wanted him and was ecstatic when he left and those who kept making excuses lasted a decade. Those cracks are starting here and will ramp up when he steps even further backwards next year.

It's because they are hands down the worst fanbase in college football.

They act like it's still the glory days despite being absolutely nowhere near the top of the food chain in college football for a long, long time.

They love to bitch about academic standards and now NIL being the reason they don't have top players. Oh but then once Kelly left, he was the main reason for that I guess.

They claim to be super happy Kelly left but they seem to be doing a pretty shitty job of moving on with their lives. They're incapable of doing so.

It's pathetic.
