TTT - Kelly wants to remain a constant part of LSU's development while still recruiting. In a way, he's right in not allowing his players to drift away from their responsibilities or from the LSU program. In this new age of the portal, it's a critical time to be a part of both developing and recruiting your current players.

Ain’t gonna lie, after that azz beatin that was aTm, I would have just gone straight to Destin, hit up Cash’s and went to the marina and drank my arse off till New Year’s, hanging out and such with drunk chicks on my cabin cruiser.
But alas I’m neither a millionaire or the head football coach at LSU. A dude can dream though.

This is actually 3D chess recruiting. Letting recruits know that they’re a part of the LSU family and instead of being forgotten about a soon as the season is over and on to the next guys, they, their hard work, achievements, and season will be celebrated. It’s indirect recruiting, but future recruits and their parents will take notice of the family like and life-long culture that is the current and future LSU program.
