Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to see some La boys come home. But we have got to add some 4-5 star talent. Simple fact. CBK has his work cut out for him.

2020 we got 4 of the 16 4\5 star kids from LA, 2019, 8 out of 16. Yes, there are more WR kids in that 32 than we need, but that’s a lot of top kids leaving the state.

And with the exception of Matthews and possibly Citizen, that isn't going to happen this recruiting cycle. The timing of Kelly's hire prevented that. What they are doing via the portal now is all about building depth on a depleted roster. Kelly is an proven national recruiter. The 4-5 star talent will start coming next year.

Of course we do, never said that we didn't. I'm simply stating that prioritizing in state talent helps to keep in state talent. With NIL and the portal, you need to utilize the things that are to your advantage, and home is one of those.
