Canada’s issues on prior staffs weren’t exactly a well kept secret....He had issues with head coaches when they meddled in his offense. Didn’t exactly need a crystal ball

I agree. He will have a more talented QB to work with next season, and the best part of it for me is that the quarterbacks and other offensive players won't have to start from scratch again and learn a whole new offense in the spring.

A lot of people get divorced over stupid, vain, selfish reasons.

Just because you hire a guy to a job it doesn't give him free reign to do whatever he wants to do. I don't understand what is so hard to comprehend about that.

I get that he wants to call the game without a leash and wants to have full creative control but sometimes that creative control can cause issues for the team overall.

You can say what you want and point the finger at whoever but LSU was not prepared offensively to start the season. Injuries, penalties, experienced depth, etc. This team was super young on defense and had razor thin depth in front 7 for that stretch in September.

I don't blame any head coach for stepping in to say we need to scale back some things until the offense can prove they can stay on the field to help protect the defense, to limit penalties, to gain a little experience at youthful spots and to get the timing and comfort within the system itself.

So the AD will be running the football team. Sounds like a great plan.

I blame the coach if he doesn't have the requisite qualifications to make those modifications. Apparently Canada called him out on it.

It's one thing to say "hey Matt, I'm concerned about the penalties and the lack of cohesiveness/depth on our o-line. Can you come up with a couple of plans that could address these issues? I eagerly await your suggestions."

vs.

"I'm the head coach, we'll do what I want."

I apologize, I was attempting to have dialogue with an educated person. Obviously you know i used the word "if" when discussing the reason for the spilt because you quoted it. Therefore you must not understand simple english, no need to continue.

And you continue to be ignorant and assume that you know what has been said and how often it was said. You can also assume that O was not justified or unqualified to make team decisions. The bottom line is that he was hired to make those decisions regardless of what you think or how elegantly he should have worded it in a press conference.

The offense was not good and was hindering the team which shows cause for a head coach to insert themselves into the equation for the betterment of the team overall.

Not that hard to see why. You fricktards just refuse to acknowledge it because you wouldn't have anything to stand on.

Are you even an LSU fan? I've not seen you post anything remotely close to indicate that you are a fan.

Hilarious considering every post of yours is under that ASSUMPTION. You made zero effort to be objective yet for some reason you seem to think you are highly intelligent.
