Kim got rid of the cancer. Poole wasn’t willing to be a role player. Good for MulKey.

This makes no sense. She knew Van Lith and Williams were coming in and Flau’jae was returning. She knew she’d be coming off the bench just like the NC year. She had plenty time to transfer if she just had to go somewhere and start.

She isn't great but beyond Poa/ADR, we have nothing. We are gonna try to run the next 3-4 months on 7 player lineups?
Basically the starting 5 have to be on every night and no one can get hurt

They just won a NC without Van Lith and Williams. Poole played well in the tourney down the stretch. It’s easy for players to get an ego and get lazy. I’m not shocked at all by this. Reese got benched and Poole got cut. Kim used the lesser player as the main example.

If you look at her weight last season compared to this season you could tell she wasn’t working like she was supposed to in the offseason

Sa'Myah Smith was the only returner who stayed on campus all summer.
Its no coincidence she was far and away the most improved player and was gonna be a major contributor for us. Now imagine had everyone did that? But thats another discussion..

I think that while she had a practical ceiling, she played hard and up to her capacity. I wish her well.

I don't think she just let Poole go and decided to keep Reese. Reese got on boars, Poole didn't. I'm sure their leashes were the same length.
