On the former PLAYER, I loved me some Karl Dunbar. He was part of a horrifically scary good defensive line at LSU and played along side Clint James, Tommy Clapp, Eric Hill, Ron Sancho, Oliver Lawrence, etc. Big #63 had arms and claws like a Minotaur. He could rush the passer from the inside while Sancho, Hill, and Lawrence (not all together) would crush from the outside and with quickness. We ran a 50 style defense back then. I would love to see it again. It was NOT the same 3-4 that Tepper installed (or didn't install). He gave way to the likes of Mark Boutte, Scott Wharton, Bo Davis (also a coach now), and a host of other players who never played ina bowl game.

Yes, get him as a coach.

Im starting to think O's master plan is to hire Saban confidantes and try to replicate his program. That what was in the binder. He's going after Saban's OC, Underboss (Burns), and D Line coach.

No. Eager to be like Saban, who was made at LSU, not Bama.

Saban was made long before being at LSU.

Don't try to give yourselves too much credit.

Boutte started at NG with KD at one tackle and CJ at the other. In 1989.

Hey brother. I live out in the East Lincoln area. Good to know we have some more homeboys in the area.

All I am saying is that it isn't like he was some nobody before going to LSU. LSU was obviously a big part of his coaching journey and a place where he was very successful, but going to LSU isn't what made Saban, Saban.

You guys get worked up too easily.

Would be a great hire. Can't let one recruit influence something of this magnatud. Another person for consideration would be Bo Davis depending on his situation with NCAA
