Purdue University (2021–2026): Kaufman-Renn played four active seasons for the Purdue Boilermakers after redshirting his freshman year. He was a key component of Purdue's highly successful roster, earning First-team All-Big Ten honors in 2025 and helping guide the team to the national championship game in 2024. As a senior in the 2025–26 season, he averaged 14.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.
NBA Draft & Legal Battle (2026): In June 2026, he was selected 59th overall in the second round of the NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves. However, he chose not to sign a professional contract with the franchise. Instead, in August 2026, he filed a lawsuit against the NCAA to claim a sixth year of collegiate eligibility, arguing that his initial redshirt year should not count as a year of competition under newer eligibility models.
No signed contract or not he played in 5 summer league games after being drafted.
Only ever a problem when it involves those 3 letters

Is 5 for 5 really that hard to understand?

You missed the part where he did NOT sign.
Allnof the LSU stuff, no matter what sport, is because they signed. To go to training camp, football players sign. Basically, same w basketball .

If we know one thing around here, Kansas basketball is above scrutiny

I dont know. Seems off. Basketball is a diff story.
Kansas is not SEC related, but both our coaches eluded to continue (wade for sure).

Saliou Niang, who LSU is trying to roster, was the 58th pick in the 2025 NBA draft. He did not sign with the NBA team who drafted him. In fact, he never played college basketball
But don’t worry. Commissioner Sankey will “save the day” for the SEC

All Sankey has done is make it harder for SEC teams to win in every sport. It’s like the MF’er works for the Big 10.

No clue why you’re getting downvoted. I’m right there with you. He had his 5 years. This makes no sense, unless he had a sore throat one of those years I mean.

I think YOU missed the part where he was in college FIVE YEARS and played FOUR YEARS
Circle back to new 5-5 rule then get the keyboard out and reply to me
