Considering he was only 70 miles away, you can consider this the first of many McWhiffs

So he was comparing LSU and Kentucky basketball.

Thanks for agreeing with me.

Duke has a Tulane transfer this year too. Why would anybody worth a crap come to LSU in the portal?
Everybody knows this hack is a dead man walking. At this point, LSU is stuck for another year. Look for more of the same.

How did Tulane get him then? It’s just another made up excuse.

Wow, 60 miles away and Mc-Hallman can't even get him

Well Kentucky has the pedigree for basketball over LSU , especially if you have aspirations for the NBA.

I sure you if there is a talented football player 60 miles from Kentucky campus, odds are LSU football looks much more desirable than Kentucky football.

Plus he might want to just get away for a little bit.

Unanimous all-AAC freshman team. He must suck.

Because Tulane was arguably his best offer. I suspect he was going to ULL or Tulane to be closer to home while he tried to be good enough to transfer to a higher profile school.

These were his offers.

Tulane
Seton Hall
ULL
George Mason
Coastal Carolina
Northwestern State

Right, we didn’t go after him because our coach is a dipshit

Kam certainly seemed to fly under the radar of all the SEC schools Regardless of whether ole MM is a dipshit.

He was the #2 player in Louisiana. He should’ve been on our radar, the other SEC schools are irrelevant.

The whole retarded argument for Mcmahon's year 4 is that he has money now to challenge the big boys. We didn't even get a week for the same people in support of yr 4 to roll that back into "of course, we can't compete with Kentucky". No shite he can't compete with them. That's why just saying he has more money now wasn't going to fix anything.

Wade didn't offer him either.

I'm not defending McMahon but only 6 teams offered him and only 3 of those were in Louisiana. Tulane, NLU, and ULL. He's a 6-8 forward. Maybe LSU thought they had enough with Chest and Collins.

I'm biased in favor of Kam but I get why LSU may have looked elsewhere.

You're going to confuse them.

He’s a perimeter forward, not like Chest or Collins. He plays the one position we didn’t have on last years roster.

The #1 player in the state had one offer and it was from Portland. If we had signed Williams out of highschool everyone would've bitched about how McMahon can only recruit guys who have some preexisting tie to the state (which has been kinda true)

The people who would’ve bitched are ignorant. The basketball people wouldn’t have

Do you think it would be weird if we pulled a transfer from Louisville away from Kentucky in football? Do you think that would be a knock against Stoops? Because that is basically the difference in the two programs in basketball.

I'm not even defending McMahon, but crying about a players picking Kentucky over LSU is hilarious.
