you pretended Goodrich would have taken Cole Tracy’s scholarship.
No i didn't. That was just a general statement about that recruiting class.
and Mario Goodrich didn't have an offer until LSU missed out on James Foster and Surtain on signing day. Literally at the last minute.
Etienne was ready to commit as a JR

My only point is, Miles's track record with running backs speaks for itself.
Yea, once they get to campus, man. Recruiting one, and actually landing one are two different things. I am not saying his he was wrong with the the Akers evaluation. But he certainly was when it came to Travis.

I guess Etienne's dad, coach and Justin Vincent all talk out of their arse too.
love when Rantards argue in the face of facts.
All self serving statements made long after the “facts” supposedly happened.
TE’s dad, his coach, and JV all have motive to make LSU fans believe that TE was spurned by LSU, and not that he just preferred an out of state school or wasn’t sold on the coach (either of them).
Just like Landon Collins’ mom putting on her sad face when LC put on those crimson gloves so she could live in peace in LA in spite of her son just wanting out.
You know enough about recruiting to know that none of these statements are necessarily “facts”.
But again, you know this already.

Don’t forget the part where Etienne is so angry about being second choice and getting a late offer that he chose to go to a school where he was second choice and got a late offer. Rant logic!!
When Les was fired, it was the time for O to go in and work his recruiting magic on Travis with a offer. He didn't do it. Everything that happened after that was on LSU.

He was ready to commit as a junior. To Alabama.

June 11, 2016: Commitment

He then did commit. To Texas A&M.
How about some more "facts" from you Lester?

pretty sure Les Miles hired Justin Vincent, btw.

And a silly one considering a scholarship when to grad transfer Terrance Alexander because we missed on Surtain and Goodrich.

According to his 247 profile, LSU offered on December 10th. Maybe it wasn’t a commitable offer, but that would be odd given how late it was. Regardless, if he wasn’t offered until signing day, that just further displays how much the staff slow played him.

this is the dumbest shite posted in a thread full of dumb shite
Recruiting doesn’t have a large element of PR both during and after a kid signs?

Of course he did. What does that have to do with what I said?

and that guy joe burrow
It wasn't a silly thought at the time considering we had more guys that spots on Feb signing day.

it's common knowledge they went into signing day with 4 offers lined up for 4 guys and he wasn't one of them. And you want to talk about facts

The question is what is the motive to make it look like TE was spruned by LSU?
frick dude. You can't just say their was a motive there but not say what is was or why.

Nah. You can sit here and say he was ready to commit when all documented evidence says otherwise though.

So why was he offered in December?

I mean, I don’t know why I try to give you the benefit of the doubt that you can read between the lines.
TE and his dad can look their LSU fan neighbors in the face every day and say man we REALLY love LSU and wanted to be here but that damn Les Miles just didn’t want us!
Meanwhile, TE dreamed of Alabama, A&M, and Clemson at various points. Not faulting him at all. Some kids just want to get away or not have to sit behind Guice, or maybe they just didn’t like Miles (or O) and believed in Dabo more. Who could blame them??

He could have very well been. Or not. It could have been pulled. It may not have been there to being with. Who knows. Recruiting sites routinely report offers that are not committable .

He was so ready to commit to LSU that he named Alabama his leader and then committed to Texas A&M.
