seriously, Randle might take CJ's safe-catch role, with Shep in the Trindon role on punts.

That's what it is. Randle clearly isn't as elusive as some of the other guys on our team (not saying he is a slouch but we have freaks on this team) but he's got incredible hands so he'll be the safe-return guy with Shep being the attacking return man.

Great inside look.

I'm excited to see these new guys on the DLine. Brockers just looks like one badass mofo. Montgomery and Adams out at end just might remind me of the James Gilyard/Gabe Northern days....man those were stud DEs. And KShep in the middle seems to be one badass leader on that D....bringing some attitude we've sorely needed for a while. And dadgum, the secondary with Peterson, Taylor, and gang. Good grief Les Miles, this defense is getting me fired up.

I don't think that I ever really saw him in space last year, so maybe he has more shake than people think. He did return punts in HS and was pretty scary. At least he has some experience doing it.

remember also RR played QB in high school and was very successful running out of the back field.

If you guys haven't realized it by now, jj's problem was not picks last year. Just because he threw two picks doesn't mean ride the guy off. Lee probably threw one just for the hell of it, but you can tell jj hates throwng picks. I doubt it wil be a problem cause last year he only threw 5 or 6 i'm not sure

Toss-up between QB and OC as to which will hold us back more. Again.

I think having Shep running slants, Murphy is the best receiving back we have (that was missed last year), the emergance of using the TE again and utilizing a quicker passing game ala Florida will do more for JJ than anything. He held the ball too long many times last year, so getting rid of the ball sooner rather than later could mean all the difference in the world (yes I reaize this has a lot to do with play calling)

Murphy is the best receiving back in college football and possibly on the whole planet of Earth.

I don't think I'm going out on much of a limb when I predict Heisman and #1 draft pick 2011. Blee Dat.

I honestly believe LSU has the talent to beat any team in the country.
I completely agree.

Yes, and they have had that kind of talent for a decade now. The key is taking that talent and compelling them to perform at the highest level week in and out. Great talent, max effort, great execution and solid coaching. The first part is always there. It's the other three phases that must be consistant for the Tigers to reach their potential. Here's hoping.
