Think JJ in his 1st or 2nd Start against GA Tech
Is this the new idiots creed? What has that got to do with this? JJ didn't do anything of greatness the last four games of his true fresh season, look at the stat sheet. No high pressure situations either. Why not compare him to Matt Flynn? He compares more to him anyway.

Yea, his pocket awareness, his ease at getting away from the pass rush, his soft touch...it's really encouraging.

One will Start for UGA in thier Bowl Game.
The other is redshirt freshman at Missouri.
Both from Lassiter High in Marietta, GA.
Both have Passing stats and wins in GA, off the charts compared to AJ.
Hope AJ is all world at LSU, but he has a wy to go.

That's a really solid comparison I think

disagree. He can do anything, for he is all knowing and all seeing. For he is the Omnipotent "Swag of Jenn."
Just ask all his little virginal worshipping admirers on here. (None of whom have ever played a single second of any sport at any level)
You may be the shittiest human alive...

Comparing JJ as a freshman at LSU and HS carrer, vs. AJ as a LSU freshman and HS career.
Happen to know DHS high school old home town in LA and Marrietta HS my current home town in GA.
Only know Flynn at LSU and Pros.

his tendency to stare down receivers.
This has been the universal for any quarterback LSU has ever had since this board was created. Just an excuse for people to bitch. Especially when you can't really tell what the QB is looking at from the tv angle while wearing a helmet.
I only scoff at people that use that moronic complaint.

He had one good half vs ga tech and people maybe such as yourself, thought he was the next Michael Vick.
Many acted very similiar to how AJ is getting hyped now.
Skill set of each player at that time in each guy's career is not the point or "creed".
I said this before and I'll mention it again.
The guy I feel the sorriest for is AJ.
Anything less than his 2 mins of fame vs arkansas and people will be screaming for BH... skip over the other 2 that's been on campus for a couple years.
I think its a disease some of you idiots have.

Sad thing is, if he was an inch or two taller out of high school, he would've been a top 3 QB coming out.

If hs stats and wins were everything then Jimmy Clausen would have been Andrew Luck, unfortunately a lot more goes into evaluating quarterback play and projecting a player than looking up the stats and wins they pile up.
The fact that Nick Saban and Les Miles offered Jennings says more about AJ than whatever stats or wins he posted in HS. Neither qb you mentioned was offered by Bama and LSU. The kid from Mizzou was only offered after ucla rescinded their scholarship. The kid from UGA was part of the 2010 class so I'm not sure why he's relevant. Regardless of their stats or wins in HS, Jennings has gone on to separate himself with his actions after HS. He excelled at the elite 11, then when on to outperform Bolden, Rivers and Rettig and win the Qb spot behind Mett. Those two accomplishments are also more telling of his ability than his statistical accomplishments in high school.

People think he's a run first QB bc he has the Ability to run. He's a passer first with great feel in the pocket and can get away if the pocket collapses. He's basically what miles wanted Jefferson to be. Just better decision making.

I really don't think that is the reason people think that...
