How did we get this guy out of Georgia? He is the real deal.

I live in Marietta, and don't want to rain on the parade. Marietta is known for skilled position speed and I see really over matched high DBs in coverage in these films.
AJ was the 3rd best OB in Cobb County, hope he becomes all SEC and beyond, but I think he is a project.
LSU may have the correct coach in CC to develop him but he is raw.
Hope he has a Great Bowl Game and leads the offense and team to a victory.

Maybe you and I have different definitions of projects, but projects don't come in as a true freshman and lead 99 yard GW drives.

I disagree. He can do anything, for he is all knowing and all seeing. For he is the Omnipotent "Swag of Jenn."

Just ask all his little virginal worshipping admirers on here. (None of whom have ever played a single second of any sport at any level)

What a count

Jennings being a project and raw is the funniest thing I've seen on here today.

Third best qb Cobb county...to starting quarterback for the LSU tigers....Rivers, Bolden and Rettig might have been bench warmers in Cobb. Tough county.

good point.

I see an almost uncanny pocket presence (for his age), and tremendous feel and down field vision. Seems to always know where his receivers are, even on bad snaps, etc. Could be special, and we'll know a lot more after Jan 1.

His footwork looks great because of his vision and feel. Does anyone have a reported 40 time on him?

Rivals lists him at 4.52 coming out of high school which is extremely fast for a QB

This guy from Cobb County must be butthurt over his team or son losing against Marietta because Jennings was arguably the best QB in the state. The only guy that you could argue being better is maybe Ramsey.

I dont live in Cobb but work here. If you saw him play live, it looked just like vs Arky. This part of the state has some high level HS football. We used to follow Etowah pretty close until we moved to the sticks this year. Not sure who we will go watch now, maybe my old HS but they suck at FB lol.

Think JJ in his 1st or 2nd Start against GA Tech, in bowl game; he remained a Project his whole LSU Career.

The mere fact that you compare Jennings to Jefferson shows how little you know about Jennings and how much you're talking out of your arse.

Yeah...Jefferson in the peach bowl actually played like he played his whole career...

16/25 for 142 yards, 5.7 ypa(abysmal), 1TD/0 picks...75.9QBR. Oh and he ran 10 times for all of 25 yards.

Not sure what he did to get MVP, not like he came out and put up 280 passing, or ran all over the place.

Jefferson had a good game against GA Tech, absolutely. I was really excited about his future. But people that want to compare him to Jennings just have no idea what they're talking about. They're two differnt QBs and two VERY different types of people. Not to mention, Jennings will have had the luxury of learning under Cam from word "go", as opposed to a mix of Crowton/Stud/Krags/whoever the frick else.
