I know King pretty well. Not trying to take up for him, but I can tell you he is a good guy and huge basketball fan and Will Wade fan. I know it's difficult to relate sometimes but I do understand that he has a job to do and his job is to always do what's right as related to the perception of LSU. He's getting killed in Louisiana but most if not all of the National media agreed with the suspension. I personally feel like he had no choice but that's just my opinion. I do understand why people would disagree with that though.

And there’s your issue. This was done because they panicked from the outside reaction and scrutiny. If they had shown patience, the National folks would have moved on to their next self righteous cause. You alienated and pissed off the people that actually support the school to appease the mob.

Maybe not to you, but unfortunately the perception of LSU to the national media is something we can never not care about. It affects the future of everything. Parents, kids, future recruits listen to them. Its just is what it is.
