My friend I went 10 yrs ago this month an I asked a drill Sargent if he knew the score to the LSU Tulane game. And the a-hole smoked the shite out of me because he was a bama fan so be carefull.
mine was an LSU fan so everyone would just act like they loved LSU
expect my dorm chief is a Vols fan and we would get smoked b/c he was from Tennessee

I pray that someone at reception will know the score.
They might, but they will have no interest in sharing the score with you and unless the army has changed, you best not ask.

Congrats and thanks for doing your part to help make us safer in these dangerous times.
God be with you.

Fort Benning is right on the Alabama border. A lot of people at Ft Benning will be watching.
Good luck!
Good luck!

AND DONT VOLUNTEER FOR $#!t !!! 15yrs and 8 months here!! Good luck to you!! Enjoy the Gas Chamber..... we sure as hell did!! hahahaha!!

Stop egging him on there is no way a recruit in bootcamp is gonna get the oppurtunity to chill and watch the football game. Your best bet is to find a reason to delay your ship date.

If the drill sargeant smokes him, it's because Bama lost. I'm sure the OP will be more than happy to be abused if the Tigers beat the Gumps Nov. 5

You are now a member of the largest frat in the world. Thank your lucky stars you are not going to Ft Polk like I did in '68' If your DI is cross eyed, toothless and talks like Forest Gump he is a Sabama man. Be careful he suffers from delusions. He will cry like a baby after the game when we wip them. Look for the butt wipe full of tears.
All kidding aside ... thanks for your service. Served 5 years from 68 - 73. Made me a better person and am always honored to have served my country, the least I could do for being blessed to be born in the greatest country in the world.
God Bless, Be Strong!!! Geaux Army!!!

I did my AIT at Ft Benning. Basic at Ft Jackson.
I'll bet you will figure out a way to watch that game with some help from others.
Start working on it when you get there.

Thanks for your service.
This is the smallest of sacrifices for which we will owe you thanks.

If you report nov 1 you will likely either still be in reception or just getting to your unit. Forget tv or any connection to the outside save a call on the weekend IF you are lucky. Good luck and thank you for serving.

I have not so fond memories of running up and down Cardiac Hill in Airborne School at Ft. Benning.
Thanks in advance for serving. Just keep a good attitude and keep your sense of humor. Seeing the lighter side of things is a big help in the Army.

The only time I spent at Benning was for OCS. That being said, I guarantee you won't have the opportunity to watch the game, even at reception. You will spend hours upon hours upon hours waiting in line. Whether it's for your first haircut or shots or clothing issue, you will wait.
Good luck to you and welcome to the family. Enjoy Sand Hill.
And like others have said, enjoy hearing the phrase "Half right, face!"

I got a former LT of mine that is a training Company Commander there..former LSU graduate. Send me an e-mail with your name and if you happen to get assigned to his Company I'll make sure you get a final score..without the abuse.
Thanks for being one of the few that has signed up/ volunteered at a time of war.
BTW whatever you do do not delay your Ship date, with the budget crisis we have now, you'll RENO to a HORRIBLE job and no bonus/schools, if they let you RENO at all.
