Daniel, go to camps. Work hard in the weight room and classroom. Work harder than the next guy on technique and also that first step out of your stance. Stay focused and we look forward to seeing tape after the upcoming season.

Need help for nonprofit
Posted by tigermedic on 3/27/13 at 12:17 am
Guys I'm not sure if the rant is the right place for this but here goes.
I volunteer for a nonprofit that takes injured veterans, children of deployed soldiers, and Gold Star Families on hunting and fishing trips. We are having a fundraiser in Franklinton on may 11th, I would like to get a football signed by Coach Miles and a few players to auction off at the fundraiser. What is the best way to go about getting this done ? You can reply here or email me at erik.waller@us.army.mil
Thank You

The Batesville to Oxford path is tough to compete with. Ole Miss pretty much has direct access to SP kids starting in junior high

Watched him play in the 6A state championship this past season, meh... Not sure if he is 6'3 230 as a lot of recruiting sites have him listed. He's surrounded by a ton of talented athletes and has a lot of room to improve mechanically
re: Josh McNeil says he will qualify....
Posted by tigermedic on 3/23/13 at 3:59 pm to chinese58
It's my understanding he was going to CoLin if he didn't qualify out of high school. If in fact he qualifies then he will have the full 4 yrs. FWIW he isn't on the list of CO-LIN's 2013 recruits

Freedom Hunters, Helping Injured Soldiers

Good Morning,
I will be serving as the Gulf Coast Region Coordinator for Freedom Hunters, we are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Freedom Hunters is a Military Outreach program. We are dedicated to honoring those who protect our Freedoms. Our program takes active duty, wounded, Gold Star and families of the deployed on hunting, shooting and fishing trips to relax and recoup. Our vision is to honor members of the military and their families. We hope to share outdoor traditions and our hunting heritage. Freedom Hunters was founded in Colorado, and also has a representative in Virginia. I live in Hattiesburg, Ms and have recently volunteered to try and expand the organization into Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, and Louisiana so that our wounded warriors right here at home can also enjoy the outdoors. We are 100% volunteer operated and heavily depend upon donations and sponsorships. We strive to raise enough money to cover wounded warriors hunting licenses, transportation, and any gear they may need for their hunt. I would like to find sponsors that would be interested in hosting a small group of two to three wounded warriors for a hunting trip in the future, as well as donate gear or funds. I am currently deployed to Afghanistan and will not return until early december so any coordination can be done via email. Thank you for your time.

re: Does LSU still sign Alford?
Posted by tigermedic on 12/27/11 at 10:21 pm to omegaman66
I would love to see AA come to LSU as an athlete. Smart kid and he would be a great representative of LSU but I believe LSU will back off of him since getting kiel. That will probably push alford to USM. I really hate it because I have watched him do amazing things at petal since transferring there a few years ago, and was really looking forward to him being a 2 sport athlete in purple and gold
