Yesterday I posted this topic "Anyone else wondering why Mainieri use Fontenot in the 9th inning last night? It could come back to haunt him." Well maybe.....just maybe if Fontenot hadn't pitched Friday night he might had been sharper today. Now all you CPM defenders can have your field day criticizing this post but sometimes doing the right thing leads to better results.

He wasn't exactly SHARP Friday. I think that was the point of using him.

Just maybe a closer can pitch more than one game in three days. I think that happens in other teams.

Maybe it does and maybe it doesn't.....one thing for certain, it didn't work the way CPM played it.
