Defense more likely holds without being in "prevent". In this case it prevented us from winning.

Should have even got to 4th down, should have let Mett get the first down after Alabama's first timeout. These are the best time to fake the run and throw a short pass.

Lots of mistakes! Should have kicked the first field goal, and not the second, but then the third would have been for the win. Easy....never give up points to try to be foxy. Not fun! Coach Jim Champion rolled over in his grave. I can hear him screaming!!!

So who's wrong here? A killer personal foul on Copland or a Fake field goal/54 yard field goal/executional error on-side called by Miles.
I'm leaning towards Copland but we make one field goal and punt instea of fake another we could have won even with Alabama scoring a late touchdown. It' to hard to blame anyone but the personal foul and fake field goal murderd our momentum.
