And anyone else on the bench

Lets just replace milazzo with skenes and replace thompson with brandon larson whike we’re at it. He has as much of a chance playing at lsu next year as berry does

While true, both are only draft eligible Sophomores and could come back another year and still have nice leverage in the 2023 MLB draft.

What would be the benefit for berry? He is a top 10 pick currently.
And doughty is already 21, taking another year to start his career probably isnt the best idea. And couple that with him probably being a 2nd to 3rd round pick…he should go

I agree Berry is definitely gone but...you only have one chance in life to win a College World Series! He can make that bank any time!

Pineda Is the lead off hitter and playing SS. He didn’t come to ride the bench and Thompson better learn a different position.

I’m wondering if he doesn’t try his hand in the outfield also. I believe you’re right about 3rd. That may be a better spot for him. Less time to think and more of a reaction. Can White play any other positions? Otherwise, Jay may have Tre move to OF which is where he will likely play in the pros according to these draft prognosticators.

I like Thompson at 2nd. Has great range and the throw is easy. That’s where most of his errors were at.
