The last 40 years LSU is 23-15-1 against bama with 4 OT losses and one tie.

So in the last FORTY years LSU was 4 overtime wins and a tie away from being 23-20 against Alabama.

23-16-1 incoming.

Oh damn. Thought we were in some alternate universe because of CERN.

I liked that universe better. Lol.

Now do Saban adjusted wins for each side over the forty years, since Saban to the SEC in 2000 for the head-to-head series, sans 2005 and 2006 while in Miami.

Something doesn't add up here. If you are saying LSU could easily have won all those and this would be the record, your math is wrong. Subtract 4 wins from the Bama wins (you missed that on) and subtract the tie and add it to the LSU win total you get 20-19

This is what I was attempting heavy in the bourbon. Pretty wild that in 40 years if the 5 OT/tie games swing we have a winning record against bama

By my count, it’s 15-24-1 since we beat them in 1982.

Before they won 10 of 11 since the second game of the 2011 season, the series had been 14–14-1 over the preceding 29 meetings….

Don’t forget when that kid from Barbe missed the 3rd down pass to seal the win.
