Dumbass LSU fans don't always realize that

They put so much sand under it to help it drain that the grass never took well and it has poor roots, therefore you will see huge clumps of grass being thrown all over.
Actually they gave 1.5 feet of dirt above the sand which is more than adequate for Bermuda's root system........Bermuda just can't account for 4 quarters of mean wet tough football.....

Tiger, I was going to point out his consistently negative posts, but felt it wasn't worth the effort.
Guy acts as if he really has any authority (knowledgewise) on anything LSU. He is a nobody and will continue to be a nobody. Recently, it was calculated that he has been posting an average of 4.6 posts/hour since 2004.....son, that is downright pathetic.
To be honest wasting any time on this meatball only fuels his fire.......kinda like Spidey.

I may not agree with a lot of what SFP says, but he is correct here. The field sucks and has for years. I don't get the people that defend it. We haven't been able to keep the field condition good so its time to try something new.

You actually seem like a bright kid, but you need to focus on more constructive threads. Unless your goal is to be ridiculed.......

pretty much all southern sports venues use bermuda due to heat tolerance, water requirements, quick to spread, can cut close to the soil, etc. Although zoysia is gaining popularity on some golf courses, not sure how applicable it is for football fields.

attempting to reconstruct the viewpoints of the majority of an entire fanbase is constructive, to me

Hitler had a similar opinion.

hitler had popular support and relied on popular viewpoints (like hating on jews) to get this support

All this and growing up the son of a rice farmer and NRCS Agricultural engineer, my father would tell that Bermuda is a highly invasive weed with a deep root structure that is highly tolerent to Louisiana heat, recovers very quickly and used to destroy alot of crops......
It was the chosen grass in the south due to if you can beat it(kill it) then join it philosophy, it also held together well due to its fiborous system so it's #1 at stopping erosion, another plus for coastal Louisiana.

This is what Tiger Stadium needs.

It's what the Dolphins have played on for decades. The Dolphins, the University of Miami and the Florida Marlins all share the same playing surface for the month of September. Catch a Dolphin game in early October and the turf will look great. The only thing you will notice is a differentiation in the color of the sod that was laid where the baseball infield was and sometimes there is a problem with that area before the turf can root itself properly. And YES, we get plenty of rain in South Florida. I've had to drain my pool several times in the past 2 months to get the level correct.

....this support was gained through skewing viewpoints via poor economic conditions.
