Specifically we had a freshman on the team this year plus a junior and sophomore at the school already committed.

I mean, I agree that PM/Cain missed on Walker and it absolutely sucks that he's going to State. But it can't be because of a relationship with a high school coach. Maybe a specific travel team(s)?

Looks like he’s the #3 RHP in the state and #145 RHP in the country, about 90 spots behind LSU signee Grant Fontenot (#2 RHP in LA).

“I’ve known (MSU freshman second baseman) Davis Meche forever and he had interest in Mississippi State when Andy Cannizaro was there. They were building that stadium at the time, and I just fell in love with it,” Walker said. “Since then, I’ve talked to the coaches almost weekly and they talk to me pretty much after every game.”

Yes, but did you see Coleman in any other game he pitched. He struggled!! He has good stuff as evident by the Oregon game, hopefully he finds the groove and becomes consistent

If things go how they are looking as far as talent coming in , then our midweek quality goes from helmers to labas or Hilliard.
That transfer may be a Friday guy by the way he’s playing so far this summer,then I think either Floyd or Coleman could be better than labas or Hilliard one
