No you're not. Miles has an economics degree from Michigan.

I can promise you that the person who hired and could someday fire Miles - the Athletic Director - also does not know as much football....

you see we are not judged on knowledge
we are judged on performance.

Your point in the OP is one of humiliation and malice. You sir are, what is now known as, Tigerdroppings most valuable poster. You fit right into the mold of what this board had become.

I'm confused. Who's humiliated and where's the malice and it's target?

Naw, they broke the mold when I got here

No I wouldn't say I know more about football than CLM but I can call plays that are going to be run based on personnel and formation and down and distance. He is very predictable. Like the Florida game, it was 3rd and 2 with about 5 minutes left. Hilliard was in the backfield in the "I". I called a running play before it happened. I knew it, Florida knew it, hell probably everyone in the stadium and everyone watching at home called it. Of course, Hilliard was stuffed and the Tigers punted.
If there was any confidence in Mett at all, they would have called a bootleg or play-action rollout. Florida wouldn't have been expecting that and it would've been a big play seeing as how Florida sent everybody on a run blitz.
Just my humble opinion.

He stands equal, in head to matches, with 2 of the most successful HC to walk the sidelines recently in SEC football...NS and UM.

LSU leads the SEC in wins and in west titles, the very most powerful football conference in the college game today, since 2005.

I would say the man compares pretty damn well with the best in the game to this point in time.

And no...I don't know more than Les, but I damn well know good college football when I see it.

So lets never evaluate anybody if we are not in the same field. If we had full disclosure what do you think other SEC coaches would say about Miles' offensive philosophy.

They would say, " miles has beaten my team as much or far more than I've beaten his." Period. This is the point. To win games. Not to put up offensive stats.

So you called a play where you had 50/50 odds of being right?

Did you watch the play and where it went or was supposed to go? Did you watch the OL blocking scheme of where it was supposed to accomplish?

So you thought they would call a pass there? I bet not. THe point I'm making is the playcalling is too predictable. Florida knew what was coming and they stopped it. If you can't keep the defense guessing, you have no chance of success.

Unless Miles embarrassed the University, there is no way JA could fire Miles. Miles has more pull than JA. Do you really want the guy , whom hired Trent J , hiring our next football coach?

I love these "how dare you question authority" threads. When you make $5 mill a year on state payroll, you can be questioned.

50/50 shot.

I've criticized Miles since Saturday. I'm not happy with what's been going down and it's time for him to make adjustments.

But to say you know EXACTLY what play was coming is pushing. You knew it was run.

How many other plays did you "call" and you were wrong? Did you hit 100%

Doesn't matter.

Nacho "Joe" Albergamo would also likely have the same answer as most here.....and his football pedigree piggybacks his MD.

No, and I don't know more than Hallman, Dinardo, etc.

What a stupid question.

See, I didn't ask about them otherwise the question would have been: Do you know more than any DI college head football coach?

So?

I know less about law than Obama and GW Bush.

I guess I can't criticize the president, either.
