It's difficult to lose 6-8 starters or contributors on defense and expect to replace them with good players but with not the experience and think it's not going to miss a beat.
I believe in 2 years LSU should be back in the playoffs.

We have new and inexperienced players everywhere man. We also had barely any time to implement his scheme before the season due to covid. Throw in also that all of the inexperienced players all have had to learn to play together at the sec level in virtually no time. It's growing pains that have to happen. We just have to take this season for what it truly is. I know we aren't used to it at LSU, but this is honestly a rebuilding year in every aspect. It is what it is. Am I happy with what our defense has given up? Hell no, but I do understand what the reality is for this season of LSU football. We will get better. Next season we are going to be much much better. I promise you that. Bo is a good defensive coordinator and has been successful everywhere he has been. He is proven. He's not some green coordinator getting his first shot at the big time. He will get it together and so will the players. Geaux Fightin' Tigers.
