We back the kids 100%, we're pissed the coaches aren't putting them in better situations.

DMitch, I will be there in Section 8 cheering the team on just like I have done for the last 30 plus years. Go Tigers!!!!

Not with this coaching staff, starting with the head coach. More of the same.

Great post dmitch. I'm from Bastrop tho i live in Birmingham. I believe my Dad (who still lives in Bastrop) saw every game Reuben played in High School. My sister went down to the High School when he officially announced LSU. She e-mailed me the good news w/ photos. He made alot of La. folks happy when he chose LSU. He has not disappointed.
As i'm sure every LSU fan did, I took Saturdays loss hard. But your post was very inspirational. Damn near brought a tear to my eye. Well actually, it did but i tried not to let anyone notice.
I'll be rooting hard for them on Saturday. Like i always do. I'm sure all true Tiger fans will do the same.

Some of our fans need to take a step back and stop their madness.

These young men do not need to be booed Saturday.
If you want to voice your displeasure with the coaching staff send Joe Alleva an email, write a letter to the Advocate/Times Pic or put another post on The Tiger Rant.
Real Tiger fans need to use this situation as an opportunity to show the Team support.
The crowd needs to duplicate what happened in 2003 when Georgia scored and took the lead.
Chant LSU, LSU, LSU to let the team know a setback can't keep them back and let them know you won't let it set you back.
Let the guys know we all want what is best for LSU.
Show the world we love our team. Show the recruits watching they are coming to the right place. Let the rest of the SEC know we will support our players and they are still a good team that can play with anyone out there.

So true D Mitch we need to show support for the team who are playing their hearts out and let the one's making the millions off of them (both coaches and the university) sort out their part after the season. These young men must never have reason to doubt that we support them all the way.

Thanks for posting this. We often forget these are 18-22 year old young men. As much as we want to win - they are the ones actually playing the game. Despite our displeasure with the coaches and the decisions they make, we need to support this team on Saturday and in their bowl game. GEAUX TIGERS!

Very well said and I agree 100 %
This is when we find out who has the heart of a Tiger and who doesn't. Players and fans alike.

I can think of only one thing better than watching our Tigers on the field, but Elle McPherson hasn't answered any of my letters.

Otherwise, I respect your post and request, and we will rally to the cause on Saturday for the players on the team, even though we all strongly feel that Miles and Crowton are vastly inferior college coaches, and that a good showing by the Tiger players salvages their arse and sets us up for more ineptitude in the coming years. The 9 or 10 win mantra will overtake logic once again, and the minus 10-13 points the boys are handicapped with in each game will be masked once again.
yes, we will rally to the cause and support the young men on the field as you indicate/request, because the players deserve to be supported (even though this risks the illusion of Miles as a good coach).

They have had that. I dont think it helped too much. What they need is a good head coach.

I will not be able to see any of the players because I live 150 mile from Baton Rouge however those that do please tell them over and over they have the support of everyone I know in West Central Louisiana and I am sure that extends to all LSU fans wherever they may be.

You people are phonies..the only reason you dont insult dmitch about his positive post is because of RR IS ON the team..most of you dont give a damn about those kids..if they say or do anything you dont like you throw them under the bus..when you thought there was a chance of rr going elsewhere you made negative comments..as long as j.Jackson was coming here..he was a great player and kid..he decommit all of a sudden you hate him..D.byrd make a great catch you love him..as soon as you see a quote on his face book all of a sudden he is a thug and dummy..J.russell could have went to most div 1 schools but chose lsu..soon as he wear a damn chain..he is a traitor and dummy..you people are full of it...
