Like the Eades move, kinda wish Newman would have got the nod and if we go 3-0 give Eades a break.

Also, i think Glenn is the better pitcher right now, but idk if i like him going Sunday in a clinching game

i think this is CPMs plan. he wants glenn instead of eades against the 2nd best team in the regional on sunday. he prob considers a W against J St a lock.

Me too. This could be a big confidence booster for Eades.

I wanted Newman to pitch the opening game, but I'd rather Eades pitch this game over Glenn. Want Glenn to win us the title Sunday and not have to worry about coming back Monday. I feel more confident with Glenn in that sunday game.

The negatives of Eades pitching the friday game:
Less rest
Day game (warmer weather)
Jackson st ability to steal bases

Positives:
Like Glenn in the championship situation
Eades can gain confidence against crappy opponent
Eades is our 3rd best starter right now

Confidence booster? How many hits did Eades give up in the tourney in his 1 start?

4 hits allowed vs Alabama. I thought he looked really good.

@ RandyRosetta Fr. OF Mark Laird was in a walking boot and limping noticeably. Status for Friday remains to be seen. #LSU

IMO, Laird is out for the Regional

He looked okay IMO, still wasn't missing bats like he was earlier in the season

Exactly...I'm fine with it though, but I'd prefer Glenn, since he has been in training for this the past month+

It's fine...it really doesn't matter if eades or Glenn go Friday.

Either way would have been fine. Tomatoe tomato.

No reason for anyone to get worked up because we're going 3-0 and onto the Supers either way.

I've been saying all week I dont think Laird will be ready to go. I'd say questionable for the supers

Mainieri terms Laird as "very, very questionable." Paul will not decide until Thursday whether to put him on the active roster. #LSU

Positives

You left out that Jack St has 7 right hand batters in its starting line up.
