I assume that Canada is our QB coach?

Is this a shadow staff situation, or just park him there until he gets a gig?
Craig appears to be a straight up firing. Not even an opportunity to leave on his own. Wow.

The day after NSD
That's no surprise. Coaching changes and hires are normally done after NSD.

Rumor since Reaves got fired was that Taggart would be pursuing Craig.

Loved Craig. Must be Canada

Juluke is re-assigned, not out. Confusing title...

Juluke was given "another position in the athletic department".
Craig was straight up fired.

Reassigned like Brick Haley was? Or...

LSU running backs coach Jabbar Juluke has been re-assigned to a position within athletic department and wide receiver coach Dameyune Craig has been relieved of his duties with the Tigers, head coach Ed Orgeron announced on Thursday.
“We appreciate the work that Dameyune and Jabbar did for LSU,” Orgeron said. “We wish them nothing but success in the future.”
Orgeron said he will begin an immediate search to find replacements for Juluke and Craig.

Coaches aren't often just fired. Usually they are given an opportunity to move on. This appears to be with malice. Did he do something? Perhaps he's taking another job and did something during recruiting that crossed the line?

Craig was a good coach and an excellent recruiter but he wants to be an oc and we have one of them.
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:10 pm to Number 31
yeah it comes out like they're both gone in a way
I hope Ed O has some good replacements in place. Craig was a solid recruiter and Juluke was the nola guy.

Funny how it goes. I was attacked on here for just suggesting that Canada would bring in. Couple of his own guys.
Posted on 2/2/17 at 12:14 pm to Teauxler
it was funny seeing O praise them yesterday, knowing full well they were out the next day.

Craig was also the "recruiting coordinator". If some of you knew how completely unorganized recruiting was this year, and at times a complete shite show, you would be way more impressed with the class we just signed.

CJ to Saints might not be a done deal.
