Stick to basketball DV. Also, what do you think about Bediaco? He was allowed to play last year for 5 games. SEC never even mentioned a thing about him.

as a non-LSU fan, im not sure why everyone is making a big deal out of this
these folks never played a down in the league and have eligibility left, why the uproar? sec is way out of line

Looking worse for the SEC & NCAA.
Would be a great time for them to offer a blanket statement to move on from this. I think it's like 300 or so athletes are under relief against the NCAA (& SEC). Maybe fall on the sword and safe some face. I think they could actually establish a line between professional and not by doing that, but I'm no lawyer.
The SEC, in particular, aren't doing themselves any favors and in his attempt to retain control over the members actually has looked weaker and misinformed.
This is also a good spot to remind everyone that just because you are "powerful", it doesn't mean that you are smart. I've worked for and with several people who couldn't get out of their own way because they couldn't see past their own nose.

Well ESPN and other major media outlets are calling them NFL players...

Lane hasn’t done anything wrong for trying to give guys a chance to play another year of college football that WAS allowed.

I guess Tx, S Carolina, Missouri, and others will follow along and let LSU be the whipping boy.

Sankey and the SEC just filed a motion to dissolve the injunction. The pleading isn’t available yet. I assume they asked for expedited consideration.

FOX seems to be the only one giving us props, which is interesting. I was flipping around last night, when they replay their afternoon/evening shows. On one of them, they had Drew Rosenhaus (Wright's agent) on, before the court had issued the verdict. They let him push the "these guys were wronged, let them play another year" angle without arguing at all.
I wonder if they (Fox people) see this as another Trump-style, media villain that lots of people actually like, type of thing, and they're going to try to cash in on the counterpoint to the established media like ESPN.
Which would be funny, since Fox is tied to the Big 10 and ESPN has the SEC (with LSU).
I saw that on Fox, and clearly Dr Pepper (Fansville commercial) doesn't see it as terrible either. They included Kiffin in that ad, which is a way different thing than proclaiming him (real world) terrible for the sport.

Not if you’re trying to run out the clock until the roster deadline expires. This keeps significant uncertainty on whether or not the injunction will stand in the long term.

No way in hell will Kiffin play these guys. It’s all BS now,

If tweet fails to load, click here. The hypocrisy from other “leaders” is mind blowing. We have the Mississippi governor calling LSU out when his home state QB is the main problem with what’s going on in college football.

NIL $ has destroyed college football. This makes it official.

Dick vital is a waste of human skin. He was the same one harping on Will Wade while saying nothing about Zion Williamson and the dirty stuff that was going on there.
You can’t have it both ways

If LSU goes strictly by what the “Baton Rouge judge” says he will sabotage this season. For starters, Clemson wins regardless of the score by win or forfeit. Lane cannot take that risk. It’s a no win situation for him and LSU.
