IMO he is just pulling this out of his arse. It’s far to early in the Kelly regime to say this.

True, but I think his style is going to be closer to Saban. So it took Saban what, three years to get to championship level?

I've only seen a few videos of his but to say that is pretty ridiculous.

Kelly hasn't coached one game. Or one practice so far.

Or done what he wants as far as the transfer portal goes.

I've seen other videos of that guy and generally, I agree but he's way off on this.

It's catastrophe syndrome.

Let's see how things go into the Spring game and so on.

Brian Kelly told everyone what was going to happen and nobody paid attention in his introductory press conference. He basically told everyone about the "Alignment" and that everything is in place to win at lsu.look at the coaching hires, look at the discipline (mcglothern was 2 min late for a meeting and you see where he at) the writing is on the wall.

Saban had a title in his 3rd year.
Miles had a title in his 3rd year.
Orgeron had a title in his 3rd year.

Yes, our roster #’s are depleted. But the portal is also open. So remind me why we can’t say this now? History says we can.

ETA: he’s not even saying we win it.

1) It’s highly doubtful josh majored in statistics

2) paraphrasing jim carrey, so you’re saying our tigers have a chance

In the era of the portal you can make a big change year to year. Boutte is the biggest playmaker in the country. We have good compliments everywhere else. DL is super talented. If we get ol and cb in a good spot we can go as far as Brennan will take us. No limit.

BK played in more than one CFP at Notre Dame.
BK lead Cincinatti to their first ever BCS Bowl Game and a school record 12 wins.
BK lead Central Michigan to a 10 win season with a Conference Championship and Bowl win.

Les Miles won a Natty and almost won a second one at LSU.
Ed Orgeron won a Natty.

Pate is playing the odds that an incredibly successful coach will win at an incredible successful program.

Cool. Those are pretty good odds. Retarded thing to say but ok. Sounds good.

Impossible comparison, 2000 college football and 2022 college football aren't even on the same planet.
