Josh Pate: LSU defense was Jaws and Clemson was Quint. It was bloody and ugly ..

LSU just destroyed Clemson, its was ugly, there was thrashing of arms, screams, bones crushing, it was graphic and bloody…..then there just silence as the LSU defense just drug Clemsons body under the water into the deep to feast.

He also said, after "spending all day Friday in the football offices this game was exactly what LSU was expecting". He felt, after those conversations, that Coach Baker pulled in his defensive pressure, i.e. he kept the pass rushes vanilla mid way through the second half.
