Does anyone know the status of these two former tigers?

Think Martin may have had one of my favorite LSU dunks of all time against Florida.

Others include Jabari Smith against Arizona, Stromile against Chris Mihm, Tyrus alley oop against Arkansas, and Shaq put back slam against McNeese.

I wish they would have stayed and been on the Ben Simmons team. That group would have wrecked shop even with Johnny.

But then again it helped get Johnny fired and we’re better now so all’s well that ends well.

too bad those guys threw away an oppurtunity for a once in a lifetime tourney run for playing in Australia and Russia.. Would have been an unstoppable team.

That team probably would’ve at least made the tournament had Hornsby been healthy all year, (that’s just the way it is, etc.) but that collapse was epic.

They both were in the NBA for a couple of years at least.

most good college players end up overseas. Playing overseas can still be very lucrative.

Jordan Mickey had one of the biggest meltdowns I’ve ever seen in the NC State NCAAT first round game. He went from great to flat out awful in the final six minutes. It was the worst psychological meltdown I’ve ever seen. It’s worth a watch on YouTube if you’re not familiar.

This moment proved CJJ is a terrible coach. He couldn’t see that Mickey was having a meltdown and should have pulled him. Mickey’s performance could have been matched by anyone sitting in the stands.

Not only did he not see it, he kept calling his number and going to him down the stretch.

something went down in that locker room at halftime of the bama game at home. After that the team didn't give two shits the rest of the season.

Obviously, they didn't go directly to Australia and Russia.

Not necessarily. Each had an NBA level skill. Mickey's defensive game and Martin's shooting. Good Luck naming a skill that TW has that is as good as Mickey's D or Martin's J?
TW should really be concentrating on his degree. His ceiling is a weaker foreign league.

I liked both the guys and what they gave the Tigers but...I think Mickey was a good off the ball shot blocker, but not necessarily a strong defender. In fact teams often ran him off ball screens and exploited him and as an on ball post defender, average at best IMHO.

As for Martin's shooting.....meh.
