Nicky and Urban are licking their chops over this.

Realize that last year the offense put up 30.9 per game. Look it up.

WE still need to develop a vertical passing game, and right now it just isn't there.

We have no vertical passing game because we didn't throw the ball down field in a tsunami? I love our dumbass fan base.

It isn't just this game. JJ didn't look good throwing downfield last year or this year. Yeah the rain probably had something to do with it this week but still.

Ill say it,.. I wish they would give JL another shot.
If he's learned form last yrs mistakes... boom.
If not, JJ is right there.

To me it just doestn seem that we have an identity on offense.
Fuking gimmiky.
We have 5 wides NUMEROUS times during the game and we have trouble commpleting passes that over 8 yrds.
FWIW, Recievers so far have made JJ look better than JJ has made himself look.

Last year? He played two games and was a true freshman. Last week was alright and tonight it was pouring.

Oh shite I forgot...he played in the oh so intimidating War-Memorial stadium. The GT game he didn't look good throwing downfield. Even his shorter passes are a little shaky.

Not sure what games you watched.. his short and intermediate routes are very well thrown. He had a TD pass to Dickson that was perfectly thrown but Dickson was held. If that pass is caught for a TD.. is this thread still made?

I do think we need to see some deeper routes.. but all in good time. Come UGA and Florida we definitely need J. Lee to see some gametime.. but make no mistake -- Jefferson is superior in just about every aspect of his play EXCEPT the deep ball.

Like it or not people we are gonna have to delevop some sort of veritcl passing game.

Like it or not, you're gonna have to take a spelling class.

The kid is ready to go. Had a tough game but he hung in there and did what he had to do, took some hard hits and still made plays.....
I'm very impressed with him.

Dickson was open and even waved his hand to signal he was open after the hold. JJ didn't even release the ball until after Dickson waved. It was poorly thrown. Pass to RJ...he had to come back on it. The first pass to LaFell at his feet. TD to LaFell last week...low.

He had a bomb to LaFell in the GT game that got called back not his fault. We don't need to go deep that often, besides it takes a lot more development than you think to hit the guys on the money down field.
