Without reading 5 pages, it seems to me like they could literally teach him only the zone read play, get him to read and play it right every single time, and he could be hugely successful as a change of pace.

yes he needs to be taught the option

he's unsure of himself when running this play

What do yall mean not ready? They barely used the kid. He went in in short yard situations a couple times and then barely got to throw the ball.

right, but he doesn't even need every variation. No triple options with the pitch and all of that mess, none of the sweep play that FL runs with Harvin. Just the zone read.

When I read so many people's opinions of Lee I keep having the distinct feeling that I have traveled back in time and am actually reading Bama fans attitudes about John Parker Wilson from 3 years ago. "He's not and never will be an SEC QB" "We'll never get it done with him as QB". "He's not progressing at all" "He's actually regressing". All that and more was said about JPW. The same guy that has them undefeated and #1 in the nation. Some of you folks have yet to learn how collge football works.

if we're going to burn it we should have just started getting him plenty of PT so it at least benefits us next year.
That is my issue as well.
