Vol talks too much about stuff he doesn’t have complete knowledge of.

I’ll leave it at that.

Right or wrong, with things being so absolutely insane there’s nothing wrong with being vigilant and exploring all angles.

Simple question, was Gridiron Club instructed to call this guy a rat publicly or not?

Vol claimed the gridiron club wanted this out and that’s why he posted the information this past Sunday.

I know what Vol claimed. I’m asking the poster who said Vol says too much about stuff he doesn’t know enough about.

That doesn’t prove shite. My dad was bagman for Ole Miss and took pictures with bear Bryant in late 70s (who know damn well who he was) Not like my dad could ever get a bama recruit anyway. They used to play cards together as well in Mobile as my dad almost married a Mobile girl from big family of bama backers. (Bunch of alcoholics really)

That doesn’t mean anything.

I’m not part of the Gridiron Club but I know that that’s usually not how things get handled at all.

I’ll just say that many people have good sources inside LSU football. And you didn’t see them running onto TD to type about this.

ETA: some things are well-known and are posted about as open secrets and some things are posted as ill-informed over-dramatizations. I just know that this situation isn’t what Vol described it to be.

So what’s your read on why JM decommitted? Serious question. Was out of nowhere and was supposedly emotional about it. Rumors abound about aTm, a school that has had no actual success in the SEC, now turning recruits due to under-the-table dealings. Are they out-recruiting LA kids now? Is it straight? Or is it all just a coincidence? Again, it’s not like Bama or Clemson (not above-board, but you understand my comparison) pulling a kid, it’s aTm…so what’s going on?

Why don’t you ask a member if gridiron club?

It’s not one thing.

It’s a combination of A&M shitting a brick and throwing a Hail Mary, people in his ear about LSU’s 2021 safety class, wanting to stay “open,” and possibly even some nimble navigating on LSU’s side.

But I assure you that things will work out well for LSU in the end. Check back on recruiting once it’s closer to signing day.

Enjoy the 2021 season. We are in for a hell of a ride.

Come on man, a handler got paid to get him to an Aggie camp, and for a decommit. If you think that’s something new…..

What’s new is that it’s from a guy in our backyard with big family ties to LSU and supposed to be one of us.

If it wasn’t true this thread would be gone long ago, instead it’s at the top of the page.

Do you ever step back and read the contents in your posts. You are an insufferable know it all with a superiority complex who gets off on be belittling other posters on a sports message board of all things. You must be a joy to be around.

You think so even if he actually was with O today? Why would O do that with a poison guy??

I know this guy arcement was just in new orleans while recruits were working out like aj johnson.

Even if he did visit o today, that doesn't mean anything.

O knows you have to have these types of people around. He is supposedly friends with j belton.

I dont follow recruiting much, but I have a question. With NIL will schools still need bag men or middle men? Will they now just be able to have local businessman pay players and recruits (when they get on campus)?

I suppose there would be an issue with taxable vs non taxable income. But if I'm a coach dealing with bag men, it seems easier moving forward to setup a legitimate pay for play system. Promise a recruit a Charger (like Bama) and good NIL deals when they arrive.
