Who would have thought that blindside hit on Joe in the UCF game would unleash this monster. He is and will always be the GOAT.!!

Joey Connors of UCF is who blind-sided him.

The refs (erroneously) picked up the flag for that hit but enforced the flag on a moron taunting the horizontal Burrow after the play.

Who was the player who spit on Burrow while he was still on the ground?

Never mind. I found it.

Nate Evans Gets Some Mail

Nate gets a big thank you as well. Poor old Nate didn't go to far after his college career.

Joe may have been the catalyst, but he couldn't have done it without the receivers, running back, and the defense. We struggled stopping Ole Miss when some of the defenders were injured.

Burrow was only here for like 6 weeks before that season, GTFO. At the end of 2018 you saw what Burrow was.

It was little longer than that. He enrolled in the sumner. You make it sound as if he was learning a NFL offense. It was Ensminger. 6 wks was plent. Burrow played well. The point is, he's was not going to be Heisman winner, nor was LSU going to a Nationalship with Ensminger, no matter how long he was with Ensminger. The marriage between an OC and QB is a 50/50 arrangement.

waaaay overrated for his contributions to that year

I couldn't disagree more. He was a perfect missing to talent-loaded roster.

I agree, Clyde doesn’t get enough accolades for the success of that team.

Imo, Clyde was the MVP of the BAMA game that season, of which, was the title game imo. Whoever won that game, wins the college title.

All the stars played very good in that game, but Clyde made a couple ckutch plays that sealed the deal.

that bama/Lsu 2019 game will go down as one of the best games ever. The NFL talent from that game was insane. As well as Chase and Joe played that day Clyde won that game for LSU.

"He's that son of a bitch you don't want on the other sideline, trying to find a way to beat you." - quote by one of Burrow's HS coaches to the colleges who were recruiting him.

But, Joe Burrow also had perhaps the best 3 wide receivers ever assembled on one team to throw to.

I'm not disagreeing, but Chase, Jefferson and Marshall made Joe's job a lot easier.
