You just proved yourself wrong by being a dumbass....

Completion percentage is one of the worst measures of a QBs quality. Let's start.
Jordan Jefferson (2011): Excluding the Quarterback position, LSU had one of the most talented teams in every position in NCAA history. LSU went 13-0 and to a national championship, despite poor QB play, and terrible play calling. Good WRs, Great o-line, and great WRs accounted for flawless pockets all year with huge wide open throwing lanes any time Jefferson wasn't too stupid to tuck the ball and run.
Matt Flynn (2007): He litterally won a national championship with one of LSUs most prolific offenses in history. That team was also stacked top to bottom. Although inconsistent play made them drop two games that season. When playing at their peak they were untouchable.
Zach Mettenburger (2013): this is probably LSUs most prolific offense in school history. LSU had the best wide receiver duo I can possibly think of on the same team, starting at the same time, peaking at the same time. Jarvis Landry and OBJ were litterally unlockable. The only way Mett couldn't get points through the air was if he had no arms... That's not to mention very good RBs and an amazing Online. Mett was a very good college quarterback, whose stats were bolstered by freak athletes all over the field. If miles had a brain mett would have thrown for 4000-5000 yards that season no problem.
Danny Etling (2016-2017): Very Good receivers, good oline, the best RB duo in school history. Etling had a good short to intermediate game, but couldn't thrown a deep ball with accuracy to save his life...
Joe Burrow (2018): No starting wide receivers returning (although there was plenty of talent). The worst oline that I can think of since the Saban Era at LSU. This was due to very few oline starters returning, also constant injuries and rotation of the oline all year with only 1 OT even remotely close to being SEC calliber playing out of position. The worst RB corps as a whole since probably before Kevin Faulk.
Now tell me, how does he compare to the players that you mentioned. Those players had 10x the talent around them at the time. Burrow had nothing but underclassmen, depleted lines, and non starters returning.
If burrow does poorly this year (2019) it is solely on him. Because every poor position from last year has more chemistry, more experience, better players, and more depth.
In conclusion, you're retarded...

Facts for the dumbass OP:
Burrow - 3300 yds 23TD 5 Int
Etling
Year 1 - 2200 yds 12 TD 5 Int
Year 2 - 2600 yds 18 TD 2 Int
Mett
Year 1 - 2400 yds 12 TD 7 Int
Year 2 - 2950 yds 22 TD 8 Int
JJ
Year 1 - 2350 yds 18 TD 7 Int
Year 2 - 1850 yds 14 TD 10 Int
Year 3 - 1000 yds 9 TD 2 Int
I want to see you explain how these stats show that any of those 3 are a better QB than Burrow.

Jesus fricking Christ. If you are going to come over from SECrant with an alter and pose as an LSU fan, at least make it believable.

Regardless of the trash OP. These pic's are getting me fired up for the season. How can you not love Joe!

@LAHurricane not to mention Joe Burrow joined the team with a new system not that far before the season started and he has to compete with SEC quarterbacks that have been throwing with their receivers for much longer? He did a hell of a job imo and you could tell as the season progressed, his numbers got much better due to being more in sync with the team. It's hard to imagine that he hasnt had improvements in the off season.
I think some LSU fans can be delusional on their expectations of the team each coming year because we have become so accustomed to success. This year really is different and as long as we stay healthy, we have the keys to shake up the CFP.

You may have a point with people overrating him, but to say Jefferson was better invalidates your entire argument.
Burrow is a very good, not great QB so far, but perhaps with better line play and RBs, he'll approach Mett level.

The thing here is that the bread has to be crispy on a grilled cheese. Give me a soggy grilled cheese and I'm tossing it in the trash.
