Is Joe Burrows a elite quaterback?

Joe Burrow was drafted #1 two years ago after Cincinnati finished 2-14. Two years later the Bengals are in the Super Bowl after beating KC twice in a month, the Titans on the road, while breaking records right and left. Chase just broke the record for receiving yards by a rookie ever. Without Burrow I doubt that happens.

Do you think this is luck? Yes Burrow is an elite QB. If Cincinnati wins the Super Bowl, Burrow will be a legend.

Play call or not, PM should have thrown it into the end zone. It clearly rattled him and carried over the rest of the game. It was very bizarre near the end of the game when he took those two huge sacks. It was like he was scared to throw the ball. About as poor of qb play that I've seen in a long time..and wouldn't think that from PM. Not dogging burrow at all he had a good game once he got settled in. But, I feel like Patrick lost that game more than Joe won it.

Meanwhile, announcers can't stop talking about the "amazing" things Mahomes does, because he runs away from one guy to get a first down. Joe gets away from 4 guys and runs for a first, then does it again and completes a pass for a first down, and he's just a sneaky, lunch pale white guy, I guess.

Imagine Joe Burrow being able to stand around for 7 seconds like his counterpart was able to do.

I agree. Under no circumstances should Mahomes have thrown the ball short of the goal line.

He played poorly from then on, especially at the end. Very unlike him.

Mahomes is only 1 year older than Burrow and has already accomplish so much. So why do we have to compare the two. They are both great players. However, Burrow did spend a LONG time in college getting guidance from coaches from two elite programs. Mahomes went to Texas Tech, so Burrow should be better than Mahomes. So what's the point of this thread?
