How soon is LSU gonna make a statue for him? TBH it is time now! He is a Louisiana historical figure. His jersey should be retired this year when we are able to pack Tiger Stadium. Build the statue NOW! Lets gooooooo!

frick no. frick Saban he has a statue in Alabama. Miles Meh... Joe Burrow is a freaking God here now, and that will NEVER CHANGE. He single Handily has the GOAT college football season. We may never see another player like him EVER AGAIN! He deserves his statue holding up the L’s with his back turned with Burreaux on his back. Or a Statue of him and Coach O standing side be side holding up that big beautiful Golden Playoff trophy. Either way I’m game

About 10 years is a good amount of time until the statue goes up. Building statues right away is weird

I didn’t say joe didn’t deserve a statue. He absolutely does. Saban and then miles deserve theirs first.

That's a negative there ghostrider. So according to your logic every coach that wins a national championship should get a statue. Saban deserves one but that should be outside the bama stadium not LSu's. Miles not really . If Ed wins one or two more titles at LSU then he should get a statue.

We understood the stupid statement the first time you posted it.

On that note if Saban and Miles deserve a statue so much where is Paul Diesels?

My first thought was hell no should Saban ever get a statue near Tiger Stadium. But then I thought a life size statute, you know 3 or 4 foot tall with obvious lifts in the shoes, might be a pretty good troll.

What about Paul Dietzel and Edgar Wingard? They both won NCs.

Building a statue of Saban at LSU while he is coaching at Alabama is about as dumb as Louisiana putting him in the sports hall of fame. He deserves both but not while actively coaching a rival. I would be okay just reserving that honor for Heisman trophy winners. Having less statues makes it mean that much more. BTW Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame's attempt to capitalize on his popularity to draw a crowd really backfired.

Saban will not get a statue. He left failed in the NFL and went to one of our biggest rivals. Rather give it to coach O. Louisiana boy bringing his hometown a title.

He's the greatest player to ever wear the purple and gold and he really did 90% of it in a single season. Build it now.

No, he didn't, he left for the pros. And he has said it was his worse move he has ever made.
