That's not to say SE has not made questionable calls, but he's not calling the same gameplan for true FR or even Brennan the same as he would for grad transfer Burrow and 3 veteran stud WRs.

Yeah we all saw what Ensminger's offense looks like with talent....

The play calling is the same as last year. Difference is last year we had NFL players running those plays. This year we have freshman.

Brady never installed an offense at LSU. He contributed a lot of Sean Payton’s schemes to an offense install that was well under way

This is utter bullshite.
Everyone that knows football could see that Ensminger had a max protect philosophy. It's a dinasour offense. Today's offenses use space and quick passes to nullify a struggling oline or a dominant pass rush. Ensminger used max protect which invites more people to the line of scrimmage and shrinks the amount of field the defense has to cover.
Brady came in and completely flipped the offense and showed Ensminger how to combat a pass rush with space and pulling defenders away from the line of scrimmage and increasing the amount of the field the defense has to cover.

I don't agree. The playcalling on short yardage has been shite this year.
The playcalling hasn't been putting people in a situation to succeed IMO.

I think E called a great game Saturday night. We had guys open multiple times, and seemed to have a few calls dialed up. Even some of our outside zone runs were called at the right time, but the tackles didn't get a piece of the LB. Moore was open down the seam a few times, and the broadcasters showed one where he ended up open.

It's been almost identical. We go tempo and run inside zone. Last year Clyde and the O line got it done 99% of time. This year our line has struggled and outside TDP here and there we have been average at RB. I don't think you realize how good that OLINE was last year and there is reason CEH was a first round pick. I keep hearing how bad the play calling is but it's hard to call plays when you aren't blocking anybody. The Oline played better against UF and we moved the ball.

Just FYI, the Carolina panthers have now lost 7 of their last 8 games with Brady as OC. Also, Bridgewater has not progressed under him. Makes me wonder who really was the passing game coordinator.

You shouldn't be allowed to post if this is your level of intelligence.

You mean when Burrow showed up over the summer, Marshall and Chase were FR and Brossette was our feature back?

There's no doubt Brady was instrumental in re-vamping the offense. Even Ensminger has said as much. I'm pointing out that it's bad science to not look at all variables.

We were 13th of 14 in returning production in the SEC that year and 112th in CFB. (O and D)

We were near the top in returning production in 2019.

This year we are last in the SEC and 126 of 130 in CFB and that was BEFORE Chase, Shelvin and Vincent opted out.

Returning production isn't a perfect indicator of success, but I think it's a pretty important one. That being said finishing 6th in 2018 exceeded nearly every national level expectation.

Neither one of knows if it is or not unless we watch an all 22.

It's amazing how less talented offenses move the ball better than lsu. There is a reason the 2019 oline looked much better than 2018 oline and it wasn't just because of 1 year.

You really gonna sit here and tell me designed qb runs with TJ Finley is good play calling? You really gonna sit here and tell me these long developing deep routes while the oline is struggling is good playcalling? You think never moving the pocket until this Saturday was good playcalling? You really think our short yardage playcalling has been good this year?

Yes when we had more offensive talent on the roster than any team in cfb and Ensminger produced an offense worse than any miles offense except 2014.

Wrong, every offensive player said Brady installed a completely new offense when he arrived. Everything is different was Burrows quote.

If teams have you outgapped sometimes you have to call the QB's number when you wanna run the ball. It's a numbers game.

I haven't noticed these at all. Most of our concepts are 5 man routes and we almost always have a check down. The Les days of 2 man routes are long gone.

Well of course you going to get a more mobile QB on the move. TJ and Myles haven't look comfortable rolling out. The last play of the Mizz game we moved the pocket. Didn't work out for us.

Short yardage playing calling has been the same as last year. Tempo and inside zone for the most part. We also loved Jefferson on that option route with CEH in the flat or angle route.

It's less about talent and more about experience. Experience is key and you lost your QB, RB, 3 of your 4 top pass catchers then lost Marshall so ended up losing all 4. You lost ALMOST every single yard of production from last year. Add that to losing stud center and right guard and pretty solid left tackle. We returned very little experience and then lost more. Now with all that the offense looked decent with a more veteran QB. But I can tell you inexperience on the OLINE in combination with freshman QB's generally don't mix. If we are still having the same issues next year then something has to be done. We are going to return a decent amount of experience.
