re: Joe Brady to NFL looking more and more likely

Why would Brady return to the NFL where he was treated like yesterday's newspaper? College football is far less pressure and the pay scale isn't too shabby for steering a team back to NC status.

He certainly is poised for bigger things, but I can’t imagine he’s honed the finer aspects of leadership and administration yet. Coaching at OC and above is more than just play calling and scheme design, it’s been a huge benefit for Joe to learn those skills under CSE.

Shock post title. It’s all just speculation. He’s just as likely to end up right back here. No one knows anything yet.

So someone who likely has sought an NFL head coaching job their whole career, who has fought and clawed their way to get to this point. Is going to risk their once in a lifetime opportunity to hire someone who is only a few yrs away from having been a graduate assistant. Someone who's only real big time coaching experience came from being a wide receivers coach and a passing game coordinator? I guess stranger things have happened but I just don't see it as the likely scenario. That being said joe Brady is a tremendous offensive innovater deserves all the accolades that he has earned this year and after some real coaching experience will likely at some point leave for the NFL, but that time is not now.
Not to mention from Brady's perspective that the risks in doing so could decimate his stock should he fall short of the unrealistic expectations that would be set forth by fans and the administration of whatever team he went to

Also in the article:
The pair have never worked together. Martindale joined the Ravens’ staff as linebackers coach in 2012 before his promotion to defensive coordinator in 2018. Brady didn’t start coaching until 2013, and he’s spent exactly zero days working in Baltimore.
Brady is everyone’s top choice for offensive coordinator, but him agreeing to leave LSU for a hypothetical NFL job with a first-time head coach that he’s never worked with, well, that certainly stretches the imagination.

What in that article leads you to believe that its...
Just because his name is mentioned by a reporter doesnt mean shite. This makes you look extremely desperate and scared
Hes going to end up in the NFL eventually, everyone knows it.

If he must go, this is where I want him.
But I don't think it'll be this year.

You all do realize even if Joe Brady leaves all of the offense that has been installed stays at LSU. He isn’t the only young and bright offensive mind in the world.
Brady isn’t the only stock that has been at an all time high. He proved with elite skill players that LSU has every year the sky is the limit. Expect guys to be knocking the door down and ringing the phone off the hook for a chance to take his place should he leave.
With all that being said I hope he stays 2-3 years as the OC.

Man I would really be surprised if that happens. With so little experience someone would be putting their job on the line. With continued success maybe a year or two away.

As long as he gives us two more weeks. We"ll deal with the rest later.

Considering Coach O and our new AD, I can assure you they will get a quality guy to run the spread.
Sorry to burst your bubble but LSU will be elite for the next several years

This is the price of success. All the more reason to enjoy this year. The only constant in football is change.

Well we did have the same players last year and the offense wasn’t anything special so Brady obviously is a huge factor.

If all of these amazing offensive minds are everywhere why did it take until now to find one?

Brady was also helped a great deal by elite skill players and the best qb in college football to run his system. I really hope he gives us one more year but I never expected him to stay if we got to the national championship. Just too much exposure and way too many job openings in the NFL right now.
