As I recall this team had one vote in the AP poll early this season so I wouldn't say its out of the question for us to be in the top 25 next season. I this next season might be around trents first year. 6-8 seed and a good record but probably a bad schedule (which I'm totally not against) and a top 50 rpi. But I would be happier than a peach if we only won against UK next season. But we will have a 20 win season more than likely

What's the future look like for Collins, Hammink & Courtney?
With some off season work, Hammink could be a vital part of the team next season.
I think Collins will be a career backup or backup of backup type.
Courtney is just along for the ride. If we get another scholarship player, he may not even be along for the ride.

While Quartmann would be great for his length and ability, I have a hard time thinking he'd start over Stringer and Morgan. Looking at how much Stringer improved this season, I can't wait to see what another off-season will do to help his game.
Plus, Quarterman isn't really a 2-guard at all. He's a 1 and 3 way more than a 2. I say this because he loves to take it to the hoop and find open guys. Not really a pure shooter.

JOB wouldn't go in the 1st round if he left
Or the 2nd round, he is not considered a draftable guy this year.

Hopefully you guys are right and everything is great with the sunshine spreading good fortune across the team. Will still be in my seats in the PMAC no matter what
As I said, there's a basis for someone to be suspect if he'll last two more years, but two small cases in two years aren't necessarily an indicator that he own't even last the off-season (sounds like Moscona who for a sunshine pumper really exaggerated everything he could involving Hickey).

Ive heard that hes not a projected draft pick,so take take for what its worth...I think he would help next years team as a team leader and finally be able to play without the other team double teaming him so much.
He isn't ranked in the Top 60 of any big boards that I have seen. Injuries set him back a little this year, he's not ready but could still have a good NBA career. I think he is underrated athletically, so hopefully he can prove me right next year. He needs to play +35 mins a game next year to prove he has the conditioning.

My starting 5...
1: JR. Hickey
2: SR. Stringer
3: FR. Martin
4: JR. JOB III
5: JR. Odo
Rotating in...
1 and 3 - FR. Quarterman
2 - SO. Morgan
3 - SR. Coleman
3 and 4 - FR. Mickey
Possible small time contributors in bigger games...
3 and 4 - SO. Hammink

Guys who pretty much log minutes only in blowouts...
1 or 2 - SO. Collins
4 - SR. Courtney

I think he'd revert back to the 3 spot which is where he played under Trent.

We just have so many other guys to play the 3 that's why I'm having him just at the 4. I think in blowouts Hammink will play the 3 and Courtney the 4.

I think SOS' prediction is very realistic. I think this team could be dangerous. This team will have a good mix of veterans and talented underclassmen.

People really think Johnny is leaving? Cmon. He has the upside of Tasmin Mitchell....This is his upside. He is a good-great college player who will be undersized at his position in the NBA so he will likely play overseas. If he doesnt stay through his senior year, he got bad info.

I think JOB may turn out to be alright in the NBA. The only thing that has given him trouble this year is double teams, but those never happen in the NBA.
ETA: And he'll be allowed to travel all over the place in the NBA

He needs to develop a consistent 10-15 footer, as well as improve his consistency in terms of conditioning and energy. Even if he makes it in the NBA, it makes a lot more sense to stay a year and possibly improve your draft stock dramatically. Look at someone like Chandler Parsons who's exceeded all expectations in the NBA but is stuck making the league minimum for the next two years bc he was a second round pick
