Jobert 3rd on the team in SEC-only BA - which is why he’ll continue to play

Reading through the in-game thread is usually pretty embarrassing, but Jobert continues to take a bunch of heat as if he’s not producing. 3rd in BA at .333, and leads Morgan in slugging and OBP.

As long as he continues to produce at the plate, this team is better with him in the lineup.

Every time Jobert gets out, and every time Thompson makes an error you can count on multiple TD threads. That's just the way the world works.

Totally agree. Assholes on here are ridiculous towards him. Team Jobert.

It’s not so much the bat as it is the defensive liability that he is. I’d almost rather Beloso out in the field and Jobert DHing

Coming from the guy posting about his struggles forgetting Kentucky dicks.

Find something embarrassing from me in one of the game threads…

I didn’t mean to imply that you post dumb shite (like me). I’ve never gone back to read through an in-game thread after the fact.

I really don’t think he’s as bad defensively as everyone makes him out to be either. Sure, he had the misplay against Kentucky, and there’s no excuse for that. But he has good speed and a good arm in RF. He has the potential to be a pretty good outfielder if he continues to get reps and get better at the fundamentals.

And every time Jones doesn't scoop one out the dirt clean at first. But you'll never hear a peep when Morgan makes a great play in LF

He made one bad play Jesus y’all are wild he’s been stellar all season outfield sliding catches and makes the routine play besides the one magnified one against Kentucky

Went back to read the melt/euphoria after the Furniss HR then Tanks HR. I was cooking during the hoopla so wasn’t following the thread.

I get frustrated with Jobert but there's not a team in the league who wouldn't trade their 8-hole hitter for him.

There’s a reason Jay does what he does. Everything is calculated.
100% of the time he’s smarter than tRant.

You are 100% right! He was a 2 time all American and he’s being used all over the field. The people who talk smack about him couldn’t even hold his jock strap down much less hit an SEC fast ball. He is a definite asset to the team! Bunch of armchair clowns in these post.

Jobert is a solid player and very good contributor as a bottom of the lineup power threat. Every now and then he will swing at something a foot off the plate or misplay a ball in the outfield and that’s all everyone likes to talk about but he is far from a liability.
